Abril Vega

Founder and director of Jazz 2000 Dance Studio

with 27 years of experience in the dance

industry working with the production of

shows and coordination of dance events. 

Pamela Acosta

11 years of experience dancing at the age of 15. 

She was part of the dance companies 

Tec Monterrey in CD, Juárez and  company 

Francais Bicentenario de la Revolución. 

In 2011 she participated in the musical west side story

on Broadway with the choreographer Sean Curran. 

Joined the J2K staff in 2010.

Melissa Molinar 

Been proudly part of J2K since the age of 3 years old. 

Started competing at 7 and still doing it in national and 

international  competiitons like showstopper, Celebrity, Jump,

Radix, Tremaine, DEA among others. 

Attended a "Judges selection" full scholarship for a two 

week intensive in NYC in all styles at the age of 16. 

Currently teaching Aerial, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and 

Contemporary. 

Jenny Morales 

Started dancing at the age of 3. 

At her 15 years old she started her teaching experience, 

she joined the J2K staff in 2016 teaching Different syles: 

Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and acrobatics. 

Jennifer has worked with: Taylor Swift, KUN, Jackson Wang, 

Kris Wu, Chris Lee, Christopher Uckerman ans 

brands like Ferrero Rocher, Chivas Regal, Estee Lauder 

and Four Seasons Hotel.

Ailis Luna 

Started dancing at age 7 and began her teaching journey at age 19. Graduated from the University of El Paso with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance degree. Attended and competed in many dance conventions like Starpower, Showstoppers, Starquest, Pulse and more. Teaches different dance styles such as jazz, lyrical, jazz funk, & contemporary.Started dancing at age 7 and began her teaching journey at age 19. Graduated from the University of El Paso with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance degree. Attended and competed in many dance conventions like Starpower, Showstoppers, Starquest, Pulse and more. Teaches different dance styles such as jazz, lyrical, jazz funk, & contemporary.

Briana Weeden 

Briana grew up training in various styles and dancing competitively throughout the Colorado Springs/Denver area. She also traveled to compete at the national level. Briana graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BFA in Dance Performance in 2014. While studying at the UW, Briana worked with various faculty members and guest artists such as; Lawrence Jackson, Marsha Knight, Bill T. Jones, André Mergerdichian, Catherine Cabeen, and Nicole Smith. Her performance experience with the University of Wyoming includes the role of Cinderella on tour in From the Ashes: A Cinderella Story, Continuous Replay (Soloist: Heidi), and Carmina Burana, as well as many others. 

Briana has always been fond of ballet  and channeled that in her teaching career. As a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor, Briana is passionate about nurturing her growth as a teacher. Briana has been blessed to teach at studios in Oahu, Colorado Springs, Aurora and El Paso. 

Briana has performed with Kinetic Dance Collective in Colorado Springs, as well as Jazz Couture and Balance Forward Contemporary Ballet Company in Hawaii. She loves sharing her knowledge with young dancers and continuing her own personal growth as an artist.
